Does anyone know any experienced Lens & Camera Technician in NYC area?

I have a lens need to covert to medium format.
Mostly need to cut part of lens barrel and move aperture scale forward. :redface:

Nippon Photo Clinic--they are incredible. Tell em I sent you.

Jarred Roessler at b2pro is a big fan of Pentax and Mamiya medium format lenses and developed the Red DSMC mounts for medium format primes.

Ask for Mr. Yasu at Nippon hes the best tech there

but in my experience, they dont really do that.

I would try SK grimes in Rhode Island, they are a great tech and have done a lot of lens mods/mount mods. the guy is a CNC expert

Also +1 for SK Grimes.

They manufactured a custom Canon EOS "lens" that was really a steel plate with another mount inside it to hold a shank with a laser on the end of it with <.1mm of play...

in two days.

Yes they're that good.
