At the risk of looking too far ahead, I wonder what the future philosophy is with Epic/Scarlet brains...
Will sensors in the brains have the same ability to be upgraded as we're seeing with the RED ONE now? Is this the path of obsolescence obsolete to keep the brains and changeover the insides (over simplifying) if and when there are advances in technology?
My thought has more to do with the design of the current Epic/Scarlet brains and where, if any, are the considerations for advancing camera development within the brain itself... do they exist? is the design one which stands alone and targets a generation or generations to come?
Amazing the RED ONE can essentially be another camera instead of RED ONE mkII.
I understand it's difficult to pose this thought without understanding what the future will allow.
