  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Longer cables for DRIVE and BATTERY

...The 4 pin cables for our Monstercine XL-Remote Start-Stop switches are hand build and have to be done under heavy microscope/magnification.

Really? Yes, they're small but not that small! I solder them by eye all the time at work, sleeving and everything.

You could buy the Charger 6-pin LEMO to 6-pin LEMO and chop the cable in half.

With one end I wired a Switronix Dual Hotswap plate to 6-pin LEMO and with the other a 6-pin LEMO to 4-pin XLR.

Hello. As the HR-1 and HR-1DELUXE support systems require long cables for both battery and red drive 6 feet or more,so can have all rotations active, Iam also looking to a possibility of finding someone if not Red do do this. To be honest I believe that Red produced a very modular camera and the new Epic and Scarlets are even more modular but why this modularity should be limited down to short cables\?
This shouldnt be a prob for any company that produces technology even more for RED and if RED owners want length it should be provided. Its easy.:reddevil:

Hi,
I got the Lemo RGG.2B adapter, and it works fine to extend the power cable from the cradle. Just that the RED now identifies the power source as "DC" and not battery. Which means I need to check the battery periodically. This works for me - for now.
