  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey all,

I just want to get some opinions on these lenses. They seem pretty good for €2500. What do you think?

These are the specs;

18MM EKRAN T1.6 #890012
28MM CKBK T1.4 #810002
35MM EKRAN T1.3 #910012
50MM EKRAN T1.4 #900005
75MM CKBK T1.6 #900028
 
They look in good condition and PL mounts are a plus (rather than original OCT-19).

IMO, price at €2500 (approx $3400) seems very good - they'd probably go for a lot more if put for sale here or on Ebay.

A gift horse if you know/trust the seller.
 
This exact set was listed as for sale here in 2010.
 
That's the thing. I don't know the seller, so I'm going to contact him and meet with him to buy them. I would never send money or anything like that.

But yeah, these look like a bargain right. Maybe it's too good to by true...

I'm keeping the faith though :)

The internet is an amazing place huh! Great to have this community to call upon.
 
If you search online for those lenses you'll find that set posted a lot of places over the last year or so. Never anything like eBay. Always Craigslist or something similar (or forums).

Might be a gift horse... might be a scam...

Richard_JP - sounds like you're doing the right thing with an 'in person' meet... just take a friend who can hang around in teh background and appear if needed... or maybe I'm being paranoid!?

Anyway, keep us updated... if it's real, you'll get a bargain - if not, this thread will stay on-line and be a good source of reference if the seller is a scam artist.

Andy, I'll take my brother along. He's a monster, haha. But yeah, unfortunately you have to play it that way.

when buying lomos, remember..

Are the PL mounts made from aluminium and a hacksaw.. or steel? I got a set of zeiss standard primes (16,24,32,50,85) for £4200, so the price is low, but not unrealistic. Meet in person, take a gun! ..only kidding, just take a knife.. only kidding again, just take a knuckle duster .. ok, no more joking ..just meet somewhere public and hide the money until after the inspection .. and attach fishing line to the wonga wad in case you need it back.. :biggrinjester:
 
Too good to be true - that set is probably worth from 8000-12000 Euro's. Cool lenses - I've got a set.

Yeah, I kinda thought it was too good. And it was. Damn these scammers! At least I didn't lose anything.

LOL true story.. I take a side arm to every craigslist buy/sale I do...
 
I'm the owner of these lenses since a year and a half. It was not 2500 but 7500, which was a very good price.
I've sold the 18mm (it wasnt clean and mine is perfect) to a member of these board with some of my previous highspeed.

This set enable me to have a full Highspeed "90 "91 set. :) from 14 to 75.

nope not for sale !

Where did you find it, I need to put a complain for using these pictures.
