For sale is a rare LOMO Super Speed 35mm f1.4 / T1.7 - OKC-12-35-1M.
This one is from the CKBK factory, serial number 880028, so it's from 1988. This is a high-end, Russian cinema lens, not a still photo lens.
Please read the description carefully. I purchased this lens to rehouse. As you can see from my other listings, I am also selling one of my 2 rehoused LOMO super speed sets. I love these lenses so much I was putting together a 3rd set to rehouse! This 35mm was meant to be rehoused. I bought it with the PL mount already installed. I planned to polish and re-coat the front element, which you can do at Duclos, TLS, Focus Optics, Optitek, or whatever lens technician you prefer. It's one, small, spherical element so it will not be too expensive to re-coat. After that, the lens is ready to rehouse. Or since it's already been converted to PL mount, you could just service the lens and use it in its original housing. All it needs is a focus gear. The only reason I did not service this lens, myself, is because I was planning to rehouse it, so servicing it would be a wast of money for what I was doing.
The lens does make amazing images even in its current state. Normally these lenses sell for much more, but I am pricing it low because of the issues with the front lens coating.
Sale includes: LOMO 35mm f1.4 / T1.7 lens, original front cap, and a rear PL cap (not pictured).
OPTICALLY - NO haze, NO fungus, NO deep scratches, NO pits, NO chips. Front element has many cleaning marks. Rear element has a few minor cleaning marks.
MECHANICALLY - The lens functions, but it needs service. Focus rotates with no issues, but could use new grease. Iris ring needs service: the iris functions perfectly. but the exterior ring needs to be secured better, to have solid grip on the ring.
COSMETICALLY: as you can see in the photos, the lens barrel has many small scratches and dings.
$1,750 or best offer.
