Hi All,

I am looking for a lens technician specialised in Lomo lens, preferred to be in EU or Russia that I can get in touch with, anyone got a lead?

I have a couple of OCT 19 primes lens that I am consider converting to PL and a 25-80/t3 in PL mount that need to be calibrated as its not parfocal or even rehoused as the original housing is quite old. And I even hear they can be converted to internal focus too?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks Michael, I had sent him an e-mail awhile ago and he hadn't replied since. I will sent him another one to follow up.

Olex is also recommended. Olexandr Kalynychenko <olex.camera at gmail.com>

And maybe Viktor <realrus at spbsale.com>

Christian Locke from Filmhausverleih Köln (Cologne, Germany) could maybe give you a contact or help you out.
He's got a pretty cool collection himself self selected in Russia if I recall correctly.

Spbsales did a good job on my first kit HS Prime.

You can contact Laaziz Kenich about your 25-80. He did mine and it's completly workable now, marks are even accurate. But it was in pristine condition.
He will ony calibrate it, not rehouse or make the focus internal. But it won't be cheap if he has to "parfocalize" it, but largely cheaper than TLS or big lens servicers.

The guys is doing all the work for Panavision France and Eyelite Benelux which are two of the biggest rental facilities in my country.
He was with Angenieux before.

He can travel with his gear , not cheap at all though, but if you have a lot of lenses it's easier.

He did my RPP, my Hawks, my Ekrans, and my zooms. He pretty much did all my lenses perfectly.

Dima and Viktor are mechanicks; they wont work on glass! they heve people they can send to but if you want PL for your Konvas and Kinor OST-19 lensesr they are guys to talk to. standard speed Lomos are easy to work on and any good lens tec can do it. Olex is exselent fellow and i can recomend you ship them to him. if you want i have a good local tec in Montreal, Canada ythat did bunch of lomos for me; send me PM if you want his contact
