Sell my personal and beloved LOMO FOTON 37-140 f3.5(T4.4) PL mount with all my heartache.
In exceptional good condition and with original use manual, (is very rare in the present days, find a unit in this good condition)
Reason I live on spain, I need money, hard times on my country.
Coatings are on perfect condition.
Lense in exceptional condition for its age (9-9,5 0ver 10).
Lens was collimated and relubed focus (grease was dry by the age) lens was clean and do not need cleaning.
Lens has some very minimal minimal internal dust (normal on all lenses).
Iris works smooth.
Focus works smooth.
Zoom works smooth and fliud.
No plays on focus or zoom mechanics.
Zoom hold focus while zooming (loose a very very litle few on the midle (70mm) but hold on 140 to 37mm (is normal on this zooms)), .
Zoom hold center image while zooming perfetly.
Image of this zoom is very similar to the angenieux 25-250, Vivid colors, good contrast, good flare resistance, soft wide open and sharp close 5,6 to up, but never ultra sharp.
Beutifull Vintage image no posible with modern lenses
Build hard and resistant like a tank.
Pl mount is professionally made (not like most of the pl photon that are built as a real sloppy), the pl mount is un screwable (6 screws) but also is removable with the original union (type pl with 3 fins)., and collimation can be done by adding shims or by the original zoom atachament mechanism (very useful and easy)
Asking 1500$ + shipping DROPED PRICE 1350US$+SHIPPING
For european buyers 21% VAT(IVA) not included on the price (must be aded).
I can tramit Euro-1
