- MODEL: 35-NAS4-19, 150mm version
- S/N: 650008
- STRETCH: 2x
- CF: 2.5m
- COVERAGE: S35
- CONDITION: Front: Used (see detailed description below). Back: New (using as new/mint spherical late 1980’s lens.
Description:
The anamorphic unit is the incredibly rare 35-NAS4-19 unit, made specifically for 150 and 200mm lenses.
Glass in very good condition considering its age (minute cleaning marks and – very little - internal dust). The construction is a precursor to the later roundfront LOMO anamorphics, as it changes focus using a non anamorphic front element, as opposed to moving internal anamorphic lens elements.
The original rear spherical 150mm T4 lens element was replaced with a sharper and faster late 1980’s LOMO 150mm T3 lens, which has greatly improved image quality compared to the original, while keeping the original 1960’s front lens coating, something that makes it match any LOMO squarefront anamorphics made before the mid 70’s.
Advantages: As opposed to later roundfront LOMO anamorphics, the front element does not rotate while focusing (the glass and front element does move back and forth). Optically matches the LOMO squarefront lenses.
Disadvantage: Close focus is 2.5m. This is actually fine for most “normal” closeups, but bigger closeups will require some use of diopters. Front diameter of lens is 79mm
Silky smooth focus (reverse focus direction)
- PRICE: $10,500 USD
- LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA
- SHIPPING: Shipping extra, Will ship anywhere.
