Hi everyone,

I recently acquired a Lomo square front anamorphic front attachment and a Lomo 50mm lens that's supposed to slot to the back of the square front. However I don't know what kind of mount this is. I've attached some photos and it would be great if anyone could tell me if this is Oct18 or Oct19?

I'm also having trouble slotting the 50mm to the back of the square front all the way and I'm wondering whether I'm doing it wrong or if I got the wrong lens? Thanks for your help!

this is back part from new nas version, it doesn't need the support, you got two different nas parts, will not fit until machine and optical work

Thanks for replying. When I connect it to the front element the back lens seems to rotate too when I focus. Not sure how this would be able to function mechanically without a support?

Anyone know who I can take this to for re-servicing? Otherwise I'm probably going to sell this if anyone is interested.

The parts you have are from two different nas lenses, the back part from latest nas versions (you no need the support to use the nas marc II) but the front part from Nas marc I, so I dont surprise, and I never tried to mix this parts, not sure if its possible or no, try to send it to someone wery well used to deal with NAS lenses

Hi Stephen - I may be interested.

The lens probably needs a full overhaul and it won't be easy.

feel free to email me at mrpolaroid@gmail.com if you decided to sell.

best,

Dan

Hi Dan, I'll definitely pm you as soon as I'm back in the office.

Thanks for the insight. I never knew there were two different NAS versions. The whole world of Lomo squarefronts is a confusing one for me.

This is the lens set I bought on ebay last year and returned for exactly this reason.
I explained to the seller that they weren't meant to go together.

They did accept the return without any problems but I remember seeing it up for sale again later on. It was frustrating because it was the closest I've gotten to owning a Lomo anamorpic. The prices have been getting outrageous as of late.
