  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Selling a set of Lomo Anamorphics Square Fronts

35mm T2.8

50mm T2.5

80mm T2.5

They were serviced by Van Diemen so mechanically very good. Optically they are nice as well. There is just a smear on the 80mm but it doesn't affect the image, as confirmed by Van Diemen. Cosmetically, they have a bit of wear and tear as you can imagine seeing their age. Also the 80mm has gone brown which happens with these lenses.

Willing to sell for £28500. Shoot me a PM if interested.

Hi John. There is no reserve on the auction. They could sell well below their value but I took the risk. Yes, they are beautiful lenses. Wish I shot more with them.
 
what a steal! I collected all my NAS lenses last months for over 30k.. The guy who won this is a happy new owner..
 
The winning bidder gave up on the lenses. Phew, my luck. Not going without reserve ever again. Lesson learned.

So the winner gave up a £17,800 deal, just like that?
 
Yes, the winner said he just found out there is a possibility he will lose some big job and that he would like to pass if that is OK with me. I was more than happy for him to pass.

I am very dissapointed in the auction process I thought it was going to go higher, but perhaps it's due to Corona and not being the right time to sell. There is an Alexa Mini right now on ebay that sold auction-style for 19000, which is also well below market value.

Anyway, these lenses will probably go up on ebay again but at fixed price.
 
These lenses are now on ebay at a higher price. In it for the long run, have to be with the current climate.
