- MODEL: BAS 14-1
- S/N: 70038
- STRETCH: 2x
- CF: 4.3
- COVERAGE: S35
- CONDITION: Very Good - Excellent
Description
The unusual anamorphic lens system uses 2 x vertical expansion instead of 2 x horizontal compression to achieve the anamorphic image. This doubles the effective focal length. The spherical “taking lens” is a very rare LOMO 250mm spherical prime. Due to the large distance the front of the lens has to move back and forth when focusing, the lens has a filtered air intake at the front to prevent dust from entering the lens, which makes a hissing sound when pulling focus fast (which should not be a problem at the distances this lens will be used).
Optically and mechanically in good condition, no scratches or fungus. Some dust inside, common for a lens of this age.
Bought from the Gorky Film Studio in the 1990’s, one owner since then. Occasional rental, regular service. PL mount and FF gears by MKBK in Moscow.
- PRICE: $10,000 USD
- LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA
- SHIPPING: Shipping extra, Will ship anywhere
