Log & TRansfer CRASH!!!

Why does L&T crash in FCP when it tries to search for clips? I have not been using FCP for the conform but I wanted to try it. It continues to crash on me when it goes to find the clips.

I have plenty of horsepower in my tower, so what is the problem???

L&T might be choosing a bad directory.
I would try to trash my prefs and relaunch FCP, to check if that helps.

The beta version does a deep, deep, deep search for clips. This "feature"
has been removed. A new drop should be available next week.

I still get L & T crashes even if I trash the prefs. Only certain folders trigger the crash. Any other suggestions?

For trashing preferences in FCP I always use FCP Rescue http://fcprescue.andersholck.com/ I was having some problems with the L&T with a P2 but I just selected that plug in in the preferences box and it was fixed!! So if you any other import plugin(matox,P2) try uninstalling those first before trasing preferneces!!!
