Was doing a render to ProResSQ 1080 and I noticed that Log and Transfer in FCP did it about 10 times faster than RedRushes. It seems odd.

I tried several settings, all the way down to lowest debayer.

L&T Looks Darker?

L&T Looks Darker?

Footage ingested through FCP L&T looks darker than those from REDRushes, same as playing back with QT Proxy. Is it normal? Is it because L&T doesn't import camera any exposure metadata from the camera?

What can we do to show the entire project in FCP with similar brightness as we shot on set?

That could be the gamma issue with QuickTime. Does it get bright when you press play? Do you have FCP compatibility select in QuickTime preferences?

I still useing rushes, LT works fine but not for monitoring vía blackmagic. the gamma issue stills for me.
My AJA BM dealer said me next usar both video carda support native redcode processing, this would solve near all.
