Downloaded and installed both files:

REDCODE QT CODEC V3.8.MPKG
RED Final Cut Studio Installer.mpkg

R3D still does not appear in my File and Transfer Preferences !:emote_rainshower:

You can add me to the boat. I'm having the same problems. I made an offline edit and then tried to recapture via Media Manager so that I can go to Color and no dice. I even went into the plugin packages and installed the RED FCP plugin manually, as the installer was not putting it in the correct directory.

But the import won't work. It keeps looking for an analog deck when I try to import clips, and when I bring up a proxy (the half resolution one) it just shows green and says that my plugin hasn't installed correctly. I've installed the package like, 3 times, automatically and manually.

Well, goodspeed to RED crew. I hope this gets resolved soon.

P.S. Am I doing something wrong?

Well, it works fine on 8 systems in our lab…

Worst case: you may need to make a clean install or it could be your hardware.
