Take a look. ASC covered Locke this month. Looks terrific. Shot EPIC 5K 5:1 with Panavision C Anamorphics. They used some tricked out "anamorphic" Lensbaby too, which sounds wild. Can't wait to see this in theaters:

Principle photography was shot over 8 Nights on real highways late in evening.

Tom Hardy is amazing. His voice is a different mans than any previous work I've seen.

Andy, are you a colorist?

Motorways, we don't have highways in the UK :auto:

Haha. Funny, you wouldn't have guessed it, but my Mom is English, and I went to boarding school in England as a kid (had an accent till I was 13). I shoulda known better!!

Hi Will, nope not a colorist, just an old fart Director I'm afraid. Currently up to my neck in bloody CGI - grrr.

LOL - did you acquire the Tea habit... or did Coffee win through in the end?

Do go rent the blu-ray if u can. Great behind the scene with cinematographer Haris Zambarloukes BSC. Also an article in the June 2014 American Cinematographer. I like when he says he was trying to shoot the car as if it were a spaceship, or something to that effect.
Acting, cinematography and editing make this work.
