Has anybody tested these rehoused Zeiss lenses from Look Circle, they seem to be fairly priced considering they are totally manual and de-clicked.

I really like their size and build quality, If they do not telescope out when focusing they are indeed worth a deep look. The thing is you can find used CP.2 for a cheaper price.!

They are not really rehoused, more like resleeved.. or you could achieve the same effect with that. They have the original focus throw and since they originate from Nikon if you want that declicked aperture ring, your focus will also be turning the wrong way. Totally not worth the money compared to the benefits that you really achieve... which you could replicate with declicking the lens and adding focus ring yourself.

I can imagine they are well built but wrong focus direction and telescoping are a deal breaker unfortunately. I think I'll wait for the Sigma Cine. If they dont come out sonn enough I'll get CP.2

Thanks for the clarification everyone. I too was intrigued by these, and was weighing them up against a set of leica-Rs.

Also, this zeiss 50 1.4 is the lens that most people aren't big fans of, correct?
