LocaRed will post tomorrow info about our week Red bootcamp hold in Paris early June in English.
We'll be using 4 full Red camera packages (out of our 5) along with several post-production stations including Scratch. Our facility provides a wide range of setups (from studio to outdoors) and we'll take advantage of the city amazing locations (no guerilla filming, all permits).
A filmout to 35mm from the actual bootcamp Red filming will be shown to the trainees at the Melies theatre on the last day. Stereoscopic Red filming will also be covered during the training along with aerial Red filming.
Thanks to our 8 month on the field Red experience on various TV, film, and commercial projects (we got #88 last October) we'll be providing extensive training and practice to a group of 8 persons. We just finished a 7-day training session for French operators and the feedback was great.
Minimum HD or film camera work experience is required. We already have 3 persons who are in line to register for this training so don't wait too long before contacting us if interested. Email is fine: info@locared.com. We can help with finding short term affordable lodging in Paris if necessary. Early June is a great time of the year to discover the city and the light is just amazing!
