For Sale: A late 2011 15" Macbook Pro with original boxCondition: Used, some minor scratches on the outside from pulling in and out of cases - no scratches on the display.
----
Reason for selling: Very recently purchased a new 8-core Mac Pro, so no need for a laptop anymore. This is ideally for the person that wants portability in a high-end performance Macbook Pro with the convenience of internal hard expandability options not currently available on current Macbook Pro model. SSD & Standard HDD compatible.Purchased originally for $3,200 Canadian.
Asking: $1350 USD (OBO) + Shipping
UPDATED PRICING: Asking: $1100 USD + Shipping
----
Mac OSX Yosemite pre-installed
Specs:
Display:
Graphics:
Wifi / Bluetooth:
Throwing Into The Package:
Includes an OWC Data-doubler (allowing internal connectivity for 2 hard drives) - multiple terabytes of hard drive space is possible. I personally had 2 750GB Samsung SSD hard drives installed when editing R3D & 5D Mark III files together without a problem. Extremely fast, but had that extra internal boost of storage (something the latest Retina Macbook Pros can not get, for internal storage options).
Editing Capability
I was able to handle natively editing raw .R3D files on this laptop often (at 1/4 resolution) within FCPX - my NLE of choice. This was the laptop I'd used to cut this together which was featured on FCP.CO.
Any questions, let me know!
