Linkedin "Reduser" Group

Ladies and Gentlemen:

I have created a "Reduser" group in Linkedin...it is pending approval, so once it has been approved please free to join up.

When I did a search for Redusers in Linkedin, it only came up with a few of you....add it to your groups and then once reduser is up as an official group, then have at it.

if you do not know, linkedin is a good way to connect to past friends and co-workers.

OK... I've never used LinkedIn... So what does this do for us?

It connects you with other RED users...

yes it does that, as does this forum (as good as anyone could hope to be connected), but more specifically, it connects you to the world outside of reduser and it identifies you within "that" world, as a Reduser.

for instance, i have produced several 3D movies and I also build digital theatres, so one could search those terms in Linkedin and find out that i am involved in both of those areas and through one of their connections (think 6 (or 7) degrees of separation), that person could connect with me.

Linkedin is a very valuable tool for connecting like minded individuals.

but this post was more for those that are already linkedin, versus me trying to pitch the service/site.

40+ joined the group today, so i think i have tapped into something good for everyone.
