  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Interesting, I think E-Image should submit their tripod for review to someone like FreshDV or Finner.

I'm getting mine soon. Will post a review.

Excellent, I'm looking forward to your review. This is about the only tripod system that's come close to fitting my meager budget, so I'm hoping to hear that it works great for you and everyone else.

Michael,
I think you may sell a few more 711's if you can clear up the confusion on it's specification.
What do the figures - 8kg counterbalance payload & 20kg payload capacity actually mean?
People are confused here.

I got the works in fact. Low legs, hihat, and dolly wheels.
Just waiting on the fluid head, They missed that out on my order !@#!$

....Counterbalance Load capacity 22 lbs means if the camera is no more than 22lbs, the head will keep horizontal automaticly once you loose the handle.....

Thanks for that Michael...
Does that mean if you tilt a 22lb camera down -60° it will come back up to level?
D

Should I take that as a yes or no?

David, I think anything heavier than 22lbs will drift down. Anything at 22lbs could potentially stay where you leave it, and anything lighter than 22lbs could drift upward or downward depending on the counterbalance settings.

I'm wondering if there is maybe a direct contact with the manufacturer that would be faster for getting questions answered? Does anyone know the manufacturer's website URL?

Just received my eimage tripod and chucked on a HPX502 on it.

1st impression is that it is really a value for money tripod kit.
It feels very much like a Sachtler Video 18 or 20.

My Red is not with me now. When it comes back i'll post some pics and more reviews.
