Many of you know what Light Iron is about and what Light Iron is accomplishing in the file-based production and post production world. We've had a tremendous year working on nearly 50 RED and Epic feature films and are looking for more individuals to help expand our team in 2012. There are a lot of ways to go about this, but because I enjoy the REDUser community so much, I figured REDUser might be a great place to start asking for help from friends. The subject line of the email should say "REDUser job posting." Some key traits that we're looking for are:

Working knowledge of RED MX, EPIC & Scarlet cameras
Working knowledge of REDCine X Pro
Mac & Windows computer networking abilities
Evidence of workflow design and data management skills
Technical knowledge of video signals, RAW images, iPads & codecs
Basic understanding of DI processes
Hands-on experience with AVID, DVS Clipster and/or scripting is a bonus

We do enjoy hosting interns throughout the year. We have an intern program and if you are interested, you can submit to that as well. We ask for 90 day commitments of 3-4 days per week. If you're interested in that, feel free to send your info for an internship.

Are these for full time positions? I would say that I meet all of the qualifications for that job posting, and that I'm in LA. Still, it would be good if it was a job that allowed me to keep doing the other things that I'm doing.
