life during wartime

[hans de vries]

Does anyone know if Tod Solondz' "Life during Wartime" was shot on a Red M or Red MX? I can't afford to do the upgrade right now, and I would be very much put at ease if "Life...." was shot on the old Red One.

[Martin Weiss]

It premiered in September 2009, while RED published the first M-X shots in February 2010.

So it would be a safe bet to assume that it was shot on the M sensor.

thanks Martin; I was getting nervous about all those upgrades, Epics, comparison tests etc. The fact remains I have a machine with which great works are made.

Yeah, it's important to not get too tied up into what tool you are using.

excellent! thanks guys. Anyone understand why this movie isn't mentioned in the Shot on Red thing? Tod Solondz is after all one of the better directors.
