  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

your kelvin is at 3600k
was the goal to get the "look" in camera as much as possible?
was 3600k on the shots with people too?

I don't recall the final metadata settings I ended up with on the spot when I shot it. The image of the monitor was from my prelight day and with a Kowa 40mm on my camera. The Master Anamorphics were being prepped.

I always experiment with the camera settings to hone in on the look I'm intending on set. That way my intentions are burned into the metadata and transcodes for editorial and even come up as default in the telecine, giving the colorist a start and path for the way I intended the scene to look.

Absolutely gorgeous! Were the Kino "practicals" and the 5k the only lights you used? If not, any chance you can talk more about how you lit it? Particularly the hero shot?

I remember thinking this was one of the most beautiful spots last night. Awesome to learn it was shot by a Reduser!
