Letus MCS Scarlet-X Questions

I posted this in the Scarlet forum, but thought it might get a better response here.


Does anyone have any experience using the Letus MCS Scarlet cage set up with rails?

I'm curious if the rails are at the correct height for matte box/follow focus use. I believe the Letus mattebox just clips on to the lens, but I'm leaning towards a mattebox that attaches to rails and swings open for easier lens changes.

Do they offer a Swit/IDX compatible plate instead of Anton Bauer?

Finally, is the MCS v-lock baseplate compatible with a Cartoni Focus fluid head?


I realize these are all questions for Letus and I plan on asking them... but if anyone on here has direct experience with the MCS series I'd appreciate your perspectives/answers just as much.
