  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Letus Gimbal

you can take a snapshot with the phone and reset it to wherever it was, for the case of packing.

Why not simply have Touch Memory Buttons to store marks (just jokin' - lol)

You guys have shoved me into the closet to get all these done :-) LOL. All these are coming really soon. It's not a Letus thing to delay release day (a gimmick played by manufacturers to get customers waiting for their products even when they cannot deliver). We are trying best not to miss it by much even with all the additional stuff.

Y'all are doing great work, the battery looks great. I have never seen a company so open and responsive to customer feedback. I know we all want this thing, but I don't think anybody will begrudge you the extra time it takes with all the new stuff you're doing. Thanks for including us in this process Hien.

I knew I'd miss something good if I went to bed early.

Hien - this looks terrific. Your team is really shining in all of this!

Good lord...

this thing is looking awesome!!

Can't wait to get my hands on mine.

If you guys find time, please upload some videos as well.

cheers,

John

2 Battery options. I may release the 5400mAh first and then 2700 later for lower profile. It will use same case, but will need to change the 4 posts at the corners.

Looks great!

The "Letus Juice Box" is such an elegant power solution compared to the RC batteries taped to the frame that I've seen on pretty much EVERYTHING else. I'm personally very excited about this new option! The Anton Bauer and V-Mounts are great but better if you already have them. This gives an option to those who may not have a stack of broadcast batteries laying around. Of course it fulfills the request of a non-tethered solution as well... and does so very neatly!

Well done Hien!

Hien and entire Letus team are really setting a remarkable standard for feedback, innovation and adaptability. Inspiring to say the least...

Does anyone else do a battery meter? There are inline voltage readout LEDs used in the RC world. They show voltage but not necessarily % remaining. If you want a battery remaining meter, get an Anton. lol ;)

DJI Ronin and Allsteady 7 are two I can think of off the top of my head that have built-in meters.

Not sure how difficult it is to implement at this stage, but I've always used the 4-LED gauge on the Sony V-mount batteries. You don't want to be midway through the scene and have a battery fade out.

....I always configured my alexmos / basecam boards with bluetooth it is a huge +. And works flawlessly on OSX to. (So for everyone.. order it WITH it!)

What does the bluetooth allow you to do ?...is it to adjust motor parameter settings with a tablet..?

Adding a power meter isn't necessarily a matter of "how" but "where". Time and cost is also a factor of course. Suggestion noted though! We'll check into it.

Cost isn't even the issue. It just add a bulky blob into an elegant design. Let's see if we can find a dead space.

By "meter" do people mean an actual meter? Is it possible to just have a light system; like RED bricks?

Seems to me we just need a way to tell when the battery is precariously low.
