I suspect that what's happening there is a difference in the sample boxes used by the camera and REDCINE-X.
On the camera the WB sample are is the central 25% of the field of view. On RC-X its a small window that you place on the object of most interest. That can lead to different answers for the KELVIN and TINT obviously.

I do often find that the white balance picker in RCX will improve the perceived accuracy in representing the original scene - it will look better - than what I set on camera using the 2 axes.
