  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

LEO @ ISO 2000

thats why you gotta use black wrap to flag your matche

You try pulling perfect focus while tracking in (in the dark) at T1.3. :-)

I've done this quite a bit...Your subject can basically bob his head and fall out of focus. Or turn his or her sideways, and you'll have one eyeball in focus and one out of focus. Good times. Leonardo DiCaprio actually does a really good job of maintaining his mark for this shot...

I was going to wait on the sensor upgrade until the Stage 2 release but seeing these bits of footage, I may not be able to stand it...it's truly unbelievable how far and fast this is all happening. It's making my head spin to keep up with the release builds.

I am a bit surprised at how much better this looks than the stills. Really amazing considering the simple and quick way it was shot. I can also see why it was so hard to pull focus. The future looks brighter than ever (no pun intended)

Looks very good. There are indeed some issues in the compression as Jarred mentions, but I have to look for them.

Speaks for itself, but I'll say it; terrific.

wow, my head just exploded! noise pattern is clean & unique...looks beautiful. Can't wait to see the 4k version @ red day

OMG I love this.

It just make me SOOOOOO excited to see what Scarlet will be capable of once its ready.

Jim if you read this, Please, Please, Pleazzz make this happen, cuz we ALL want it to REALLY badly.

Thanks for all you guys' hard work and dedication to the dream

OMG! That was F&$*$#G AMAZING!! I'm torn apart by waiting for epic or MX NOW!!!

Like you I was torn, but Red sewed me back together again and I picked some fresh dollar bills from my money tree and now happily await my R1 MX Upgrade.

Go for it!

I think within a few months, if not sooner, PRODUCERS will be demanding for it. "Oh..you don't have MX?" [click..] [cry] [eviction]

Really Impressive.
I just played back the footage on my 26" Panasonic HD monitor from a Kona 3 card.
Very little noise... and the bit of noise that's there is organic and well spread. You've got to get pretty close to the monitor to even see it.
Nice job guys.

Whoa... that's crazy dark in there. Most impressive, nice touch with Leo though, makes me want to spark up my Siglo VI.

It's just nothing like seeing the raw stuff. I mean, even just seeing the LCD's image in a situation that you KNOW is supposed to kill a digital video acquisition tool makes you go "what the f***?"

Then you get it back to the forte and look at what you've got, pick through stills, start looking for the flaws and you can't find anything objectionable. It's like... "Damn, now I don't have anymore excuses...."

It's incredible, man....

Ahhh yes the money tree.... Unfortunately it's all shriveled up!

Really amazing stuff going on here. This and OffHollywood's footage just amazes me. The footage is as if you are there, seeing it with your own two eyes.

can't wait to see the 4k :beatdeadhorse5:
