There's no camera that could do this shot better. It looks incredible. Maybe if you are looking at it on some old TN low contrast LCD with gamma issues would it look grainy.

Even dark M images could be quite noisefree even pre b30.

Now it is just much easier.

This is another take from the same shoot. I opened in REDCINE-X and selected REDcolor2 and REDlogFilm. I pulled down the bottom end of the Curve tool and nothing else. No other adjustment.

Even at the end of the clip I saw the faintest of light on his nose

It was a test. It was shot on an existing movie set after wrap for the night. About 15 minutes total and 8 takes. We could hardly see him. It was much brighter in the monitor than we could see directly.

How long ago? Either way it looks nice. Plus I like the fact there is noise. It adds to it.

No stalking, I promise. It's easy to look around here and fantasize. I'll settle for a new camera and rent islands when needed.

Only bummer is I'm shooting Canon. I'll drop the big bucks on a new underwater setup when Epic arrives. Maybe I could use the island for testing underwater Epic 3D!
