Lens Repair?

[Jason beaumont]

My canon Cn-e Lenses could really use some service. Are lens repairs/ maintenance costly? Can anyone recommend a good place in south florida or on the east coast?

Abel Cine has amazing repair and service and they are Canon Authorized.

ok thanks

I would just go to any reputable camera store and buy a lens hammer. Most common problems, ie stiff focus, stuck iris, not focusing to infinity, etc, can be fixed with a few swift blows in the right place.

I would always say Duclos lenses here in Hollywood, since they are the best out here. However, if you're looking for Florida, reach out to ZGC, INC. They are in NJ, but their main lens tech "guy" has set up his shop in Naples Florida and he's my next-go-to-place for my lens repairs. His name is Guy Genin, hence my pun earlier. LoL. But it's pronounced "Gee" as if rhyming with "key". Reach out to Christine at ZGC and she'll put you in touch with Guy in Florida. He's fantastic.
