  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Lens Mount Torque Specs?

I don't think that they need to be tightened down too much. i just snug them up. I once stripped the threads of my Scarlet from over tightening them and had to send the camera back to RED for repair, so don't go too crazy when snugging them on there.
 
Would be cool to know the specs, just to be safe!

Ouch! I come from a motorsports background and whenever I see a Torx bolt I know it's serious business. Rather know the exact figure. I'll email RED and see what they say. I'm very impressed that helicoil inserts are standard on every 1/4 and 3/8 threads. They really don't cut corners on quality.
