Basically I'm a student who is planning on investing in the new WCU - 3 Wireless unit from Arri but that alone is going to cost me £4500 pounds and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a cheap motor that will connect to the Arri UMC- 3.
I have been looking at the Arri CLM 1 motor but I can't seem to find anywhere that sells it. Ideally I would love to find an ex-demo or rental CLM-1 motor and UMC-3. Or I could buy a much cheaper lens motor and then just find an ex-rental UMC-3 to control the motors with.
Any suggestions?
