Going to be shooting several short narratives in the next couple months with my new Scarlet and I want to make sure I can get by with the lens I have.

I have picked up the nikon al mount from red and I have the following lens:

Nikon Nikkor 14-24mm (cf: 22-39mm)
zf.2 25mm f2.0 (cf: 41mm)
zf.2 50mm f1.4 (cf: 81mm)
zf.2 100mm f2.0 macro (cf: 163mm)

When I purchased these lens I had in mind full frame, therefore I added the nikon zoom to get some wide angle action.

These should be sufficient for most things right? I can't really afford any more as my budget is maxed at this point anyway.

I have a UV filter for each and a shared high quality ND filter and Polarizer filter as well and with my step up rings they will fit all of the lens except for the zoom which doesn't take filters. I don't want to go with a matte box at this point, so I hope this works out. But I understand you can't really use a polarizer with a ND because they both rotate and you can't have two rotating filters on a lens. Anyone got a workaround?

Also, step up rings are a pain. I already got one stuck to my expensive ND filter. This is going to be a pain.

From my experience I do not see any problems with using ND and Polarizer on the same lens - I do it all the time. ND does not rotate. Rotating ND will make no difference on the image - unless You have a graduated ND - which should not be rotated anyhow...
You lens line-up is more then sufficient. You might need to move the 50 back and forth from Your subjects to fill the gap between 25 and 100 more evenly - but this is a tiny compromise.
My main worry is the wide zoom. You will almost certainly need ND filter at the very least. Especially if You plan on shooting outdoors during daylight with this lens. Why doesn't it take filters? I thought this lens has screw-in threads...

whoos, I bought the 14-24 f2.8 which has the big bubble. That's the "legendary" one. Not the 12-24 f4. I think some does make a filter kit but its a bit obnoxious and will be pricey.

Also, I got a variable nd, so that's why it rotates. It doesn't even have a front thread. I have to check the polarizer though. I bet there is a a way to make it work. I'll have to play with it.

actually, looking at it more, I don't think I want to use a polarizer with a variable nd, so never mind about that. I'll research it more.
