Hello,

I just bought the Red motion mount, it doesn't seem to have been used much, it is in very good condition. But when I mounted it on the camera with a Canon 100mm macro lens, I realized that I couldn't access the lens aperture settings. So I tried to put back my old mount (Red EF) with which I am sure it works. But no luck, I still don't have access to the aperture or lens information. It's as if no information is being transmitted. However, the mount information is being transmitted properly. But with the motion mount, I don't have access to the ND filter settings. So I tried cleaning the connectors even though they are clean. I reset the camera, tried with other lenses, tried without a lens to see if I could access the ND of the motion mount. but it doesn't work... I even tried updating the firmware.

Has anyone encountered this problem before and have a solution?

Thank you very much in advance.

I'm having the same issue - my lenses and my mount aren't being recognised! Did you manage to find a solution?

My solution was to buy a second mount (with a broken locking ring and a wobbly lens mount), take the circuit board off the back with 4 screws and swap it with my one! That worked fine and only cost me $200AUD instead of the insane cost to buy a whole new mount
