LEMO 1B 6-pin ELBOW PLUG WITH BATTERY INFO

Hi everyone,

there's been a few threads about this already and I signed up as well to buy one but I'm still waiting.
So I decided to make my own since I make almost all of my other cables audio and all, you know...

I wanted a simple and quick solution to switch from shoulder to hand held or belt with the same V-mount plate.
I made a short one 5" and a long one 3 feet. I use the long one with a belt sort of holster for bat + plate to dispense length as needed, perfect for time lapse.

but the elbow plugs are a b**ch to find, so I contacted LEMO here in in France and they ordered them for me here's the ref.

- Elbow plug female : FHJ.1B.306.CWLD72Z
- Straight socket receptacle plug male : PHJ.1B.306.CWAD72Z
- Bend relief : GMA.1B.065.DR "R" is for red

The plugs are about €40 to €55 a pop so soldering experience is required !!
The cable is from "Conrad"

I'd even buy one from you (with additional labor and time cost added of corse) - so if you ever decide to do more of them and sell them please let me know (I'm not used to soldering smaller stuff, did some XLR-cables but generally I'm not a good soldering-guy and Lemo is a bit too tough for me I guess)

for the soldering part, It's just a question of having the right tools and good eyes (and no shacky hands), but i'm more then sure everyone here has good eyes, right ?
I'd be glad to provide a few to REDusers (now that i'm down with it) if it's of any interest to you guys.

It could be any length, the thing is the plugs are so expensive in small quantities, I'd have to sell them like €200,00 each + shipping, and that's not even making profit of course. But i'd give a go if i could start of with like 10 pieces.

We could probably lower the price starting at maybe 200 pieces but that's already been attempted. But i would do it.

Element Technica makes one for $245,00 but it's 1B female to 2B female. It has to be 1B elbow female to 1B socket male.
