Leica summicron-r 90mm fungus

Hello,

I got a leica summicron-r 90mm which has a bit of fungus on the front lens element(backside offcours). But the ring that is holding the front lens element seems to be stuck, I tried to remove it with a caliper, but it doesnt budge. Any tips? (I dont have to remove any screws on the side do I?

Yes, those will free the front rings which will give you access to deeper screws.

Just keep a little dish to organize your parts and take photos as you go

In picture one here, do I need to untighten this screw? It also seems to be glued in? As I tried to unscrew it, but I seem to be damaging the screw.

THis is the front glass retainer that I cannot get loose.

Here you can see the screws on the side. If they matter for getting the front glass retainer off.

Any help would be appreciated!
