  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hello,

I'm selling my beloved Leica-R set in great condition. The glass is clean and without any scratches on ALL lenses. They are very sharp, even wide open and produce a silky smooth lovely image.
The lenses have been nothing but amazing, I've used them for several projects, and they have always delivered amazing results. All lenses match fairly well in color.
I have mostly paired the lenses with an ARRI Alexa Mini, RED Gemini & a RED Scarlet-W.
The lenses are not cinemodded, but they are converted to Leitax EF mount. (except the 135mm which still has the Leica-R mount)


19mm Elmarit -R : S/N 3040674 - My favorite lens. Minimal signs of wear on body. Comes with front & rear cap, also comes with orignal hood. Made in Canada.

35mm Summicron -R : S/N 2860095 - A few cosmetic wearing on the paint of the body, but body is great otherwise. Some white fading in the edges of the front glass, but nothing that I notice when using it. The red dot on the body is missing. Comes with front and rear caps. Made in Germany.

50mm Summilux -R : S/N 2471306 - Would be my favorite lens if I wasn't a such a sucker for wide shots. Same as the 35mm, some wearing in the paint on the lens body + one little scratch on body. Comes with front and rear caps. Made in Germany.

90mm Summicron -R: S/N 2873939 - Very little signs of wear in the paint. Comes with front and rear caps. Made in Canada.

Hi Petter,

I'm interested in purchasing these. However, I've had exactly the same lenses being offered to me from Attila Somos in the UK from FILMGEARS. Exactly the same pictures were sent to me with exactly the same serials.
Are these yours or his? I was about to send him the payment when i felt fishy about the fact he couldn't send pictures of one of the included lenses (24mm). Are you willing to get on video with them?

Wait, what the hell?! I’m happy you said that, I think you almost got scammed friend. Attila sent me an email asking if the lens set was available, and if I had a 24mm. I definitely would not be dealing with him if you got the exact same pictures with the same serials! If this is the case, I think we should report it.

mmmm, i'm a little suss on that Atilla guy. He seems very shifty.
He offered me a different set of Leica R's from someone else i know personally. When i questioned him on it, he went dead quiet.
 
I can't say bad things about Attila Somos. He is a good guy.

Guys how do you get a guy like that off the internet before they scam someone else? Man! These Leicas!!!!
 
I mean the Attila Somos character if they're impersonating. Times are challenging and it would be painful setting anyone back $5K.
