Selling Leica R prime lenses:
Arghh!! I put a lot of effort and time into securing these outstanding lenses; they are jewels. But I've changed my business plan quite a bit since I pursued these and it just doesn't make sense for me to hold onto these at this time. I've debated selling these before but then changed my mind. Going through with it now for sure. So I hope someone that respects incredible design and outstanding glass purchases these from me.
They are all unmodified and would make good candidates for the sleeves that Brian is talking about here: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?96624-Leica-R-Sleeves.
This would result in one of the lowest cost ways to have a prime set with full frame coverage, large focus throws (in the right direction no less!!) and a fast 2.8 stop all the way out to the wide end of things. I began by purchasing the most hard to come by lenses first (the essential wide ones) and I stopped my quest before purchasing a 90mm lens... So there is no 80 or 90 for sale
.
R 24 f2.8 Elmarit 3153238 -- $600 -- An excellent sample of this underrated gem; not of the same level (or price) as the 19 and 28, but at a desirable 24mm length...
R 35 f2.8 Elmarit 290629 -- $550 -- Practically perfect example of the later version lens. Wow is this one in nice shape.
R 50 f2 Summicron 2822408 -- $600 -- Later version of this lens. A good sample of a great lens. Love the built in hoods on some these lenses!
R 19 V2 f2.8 Elmarit -- SOLD*
R 28 V2 f2.8 Elmarit 3664917 -- SOLD **
I will ship them in North America for free
