hi guys, the set will not be split up thank you.

So, I offered Stephen full price for the Leica set, then he tells me the seller has changed his mind and for me to wait until I hear back from him. I expressed that I need to hear something right away because I have a shoot coming up. I heard back from Stephen the next day and he says "okay the seller has decided to go forward with the sale." I got this message last night and told him I would send payment today. Then I get a message this morning and he tells me he sold the set to someone else. I patiently waited when supposedly the seller backed out, but then he hurries and sells to someone else... give me a break.

NO INTEGRITY.

Jeremy, you had every chance to pay for the item just like the other buyer did, you had the payment instructions at 500PM PST, it is now 923AMPST, so you have had the availability to pay for over 12 hours. I cannot hold items for anyone on the "word" that they will pay for the items. I have been screwed by that so many times by doing that, so I don't do it anymore. I get so many people who say "im interested" and then they are just tire kickers. so the first customer who pays the invoice, gets the item, same as buying it from a store or on ebay. The other buyer paid for the item in FULL already fair and square.

plus, I do not appreciate you calling me on the phone, swearing at me, call my mother $%$#er, saying that you will punch my face in etc because I sold the set to someone else... its unprofessional. I dont think anyone else here would appreciate that either.

Huh? What? You're completely lying. I would never say those things.

You sent the message at 7:58 pm last night, but I did not see it until 3 hours later at 11pm. I'm at home with my family and don't typically check email, but I happen to see I got a message. I said I would transfer the payment in the morning. I needed to raise the limit on my bank card and could only do that when the bank opened. I was about to transfer the money this morning, as I promised, then you sell it to someone else. That's really lame.

When you make professional promises, then stick to it. First, don't sell a product on this forum, then tell the buyer that it's not for sale, when they offer full price. That's what you did, but I patiently waited while you got back to me. And when you do sell an item, give the person the opportunity to send you the payment like they promised they would, which in my case was the very next morning.

If there's anything that I've learned in life it's that the consideration you extend to others will not always be extended to you.

Just got a PM from someone, who I won't disclose, who said, "Sorry to hear about your ordeal but I gotta confess I chuckled at this part "the seller has changed his mind". FYI - Stephen isn't brokering someone else's lenses, he is the owner, same goes for all the stuff he lists for sale."

I respect those that tell me the truth, no matter how hard it is. You should have just told me the seller was you.

Anyways... Not cool, Stephen. If I see you posting stuff in the future, I'll be sure to warn the buyers.

Hmm.... OK. Two sides to every story. You're both coming off as completely unprofessional here. FWIW, Stephen, I can see why Jeremy is pissed, even based on your own account. Jeremy, I think you have said plenty on the matter. Both of you are long-time members of these forums. If you want to continue arguing, take it off the forums.
