I just received a Leica R 19mm f/2.8 V II. The focussing ring does have a tiny little bit of play and does make some quiet clicking sounds while focussing. When i pull the ring for the filter turret towards the mount and start focussing simultanously, there isn't any play anymore and the clicking sounds have also gone.
Well I don't think this would be a problem on set as you can still set precise focussing marks despite the play. But still I wanted to know if this is an general issue with the 19mm V.II or if this is some kind of defect, due to improper handling of the pre-owner.
Has anyone else discovered this problem? Or does anyone else who owns this lens NOT have this problem?
