This lens turns your LOMO Anamorphic round front into LOMO-LEICA full frame lens, with a huge 43mm image circle. That covers nearly every sensor available on the market.
It combines beautiful LOMO anamorphic flares with best Leica lens qualities that made these lenses so desirable.
Compatible with any LOMO Anamorphic Roundfront lenses that have 50,75 or 100mm focal lengths. As anamorphic front sections of these lenses are identical they have universal attachment system, so it is not important which LOMO rear part you choose to replace with LEICA.
To use it you detach your LOMO spherical part with 50/75 or 100mm lens, and replace it with this one. (quarter turn of a locking ring). This rear part exchange can be done in the field.
You will only need to check for vertical alignment once, back focal distance is fixed, and adjusted on collimator. This rehousing uses much easier to use separate vertical alignment system. Swapping rear spherical lens block does not require re-calibrating the lens or setting it up in any way. It is plug and play.
I used this lens with Epic Dragon with RED titanium PL mnt, and it had proper infinity focus and correct vertical alignment. It is ready to use, given that your LOMO anamorphic front part is properly adjusted.
