Steve they are great, we use them specially in a car or in the air ( with go pro's )
Quality and settings are great , alway's an extra safety channel witch record the audio a few db lower... we use it with a sanken lavalier mic.

That's sounds awesome, so you can record at 2 different gains? I do something similar with my pix xlr

We tried one a few weeks back.
Super small which is nice.
Easy to figure out.
After jamming the timecode and testing it wasn't as accurate as we'd have liked.
The sound was okay - don't expect the "mic pre" to sound like a Sound Devices or Zaxcom. Not a lot of depth.
It's benefit was mainly being small and not having to worry about typical radio interference.

I took it back - For $750 I expected a little better sound and more accurate timecode.

I ended up with the tascam and I am happy as a second mic
