Hi all,

Recently on a shoot we through our plug on transmitter on our Shoeps mic. At the end of the shoot I went to remove it by depressing the collar on the transmitter and pulling the mic off and nothing. The thing is acting like it is stuck on the transmitter. I am a pretty handy guy so I am sure that I am not doing anything wrong but you never know. I just have never run into this before and would hate to damage our brand new supercardioid. Has anyone out there in the audio world come across this?

Any advice or leads are much appreciated.

I would contact TAI Audio in Orlando and have them help:

Schoeps mics are very, very expensive and a little delicate, and I wouldn't try to force the connector out if it jams.

Hi Marc,

Thanks for the info! I was able to figure out what I was doing wrong. They are very expensive mics which is why I was not going to force anything.
