I know this probably has come up a bunch of times but what was the thinking behind doing away with the swivel function of the old 5" touch on the new 4.7" touch screen that came with the Scarlet-W packages? Although not having a cord is nice, I'm finding I miss my old screen a lot lately for the fact I can only see the screen from the rear of the camera or directly to the side. I cannot spin it around or mount it backwards when I film myself for my marketing.

Just kinda bummed. Guess I gotta upgrade to the 7"

Cost aside, you'll love the 7" display when compared to a 5".

IMHO, They need a better display hood or a shade (built-in perhaps) especially in outdoor sunny conditions. Better yet an OLED display at a reasonable price eh?

I imagine its easier to see if your subject is in focus on the 7" with Focus Setting on. 4.7" screen is so damn hard to see especially outdoors or anywhere other than a controlled indoor location.

I had the opportunity to use both the 4.5" and the 7" displays during the REDucation class recently. You are correct about the ease of focus on larger displays.
