When I boot my epic with the EVF plugged in and then switch to the LCD, information passes through, live image is seen, redmote can control the menus.... but touching the screen does nothing. If I reboot with the LCD plugged in everything is fine and likewise if I then switch to the EVF and back to the LCD the same issue occurs.

Tried this out with the same EVF, LCD and cable on another Epic running the same firmware v4.0.18 and this did not occur. I am going to reinstall the firmware tonight hopefully and see if that fixes anything but I just wanted to see if anyone has had a similar issue.

Thanks

Dustin

I have set the priority to BRAIN LCD and that still is not doing the trick. I see my menus and can see options changing while I use the redmote, but the screen is unresponsive to me "touching" it.

Is the touchscreen locked? You should see a lock icon in the top right if it is. If it is locked, press and hold on the lock icon to unlock it.

and also when in the priority portion of the display controls, you can potentially also check the box for "automatically assign menu mode to highest priority active monitor"
