LCD Screen protection

Hi there,

I am getting really nuts with my RED LCD Touch screen. I had problems with 2 screens in a row...they basically got deadlines and pixels at some point, even though I NEVER had any sort of problem with LCD screen before with any other cameras.

So I am looking for a screen protection during transport. It would be SO simple for any manufacturer to produce something like a screen hood in metal or carbon fiber, that you can actually fold into the screen itself for protection during transport, I can't understand why something like that don't exist.

What are you using yourself?

Interesting, but not completely ideal.

Something that would act both as a sun screen, and as a protective case during transport.

I’m amazed that no basic touch-through screen protectors exist for the LCDs!
