LANC (or similar) remote control option

I don't remember last time I shot anything for client without a remote. The WiFi controller that is announced is going to be great, but I can see lot of issues for it to be used as traditional LANC-type controller. WiFi drop-out, latency and another battery hungry HW are just a few...

What would be genial is if the WiFi controller had an option to be physically connected to Scarlet, in which case it will not require battery and would transfer data communication by wire. Best of both worlds!!!

Just please include properly weighted zoom rocker of decent size on it...
