The forearm is still a Mark I on those pics, the Mark II forearm will be sleeker with a series of holes to attach accessories: monitor, recorders, coffee-cup holder (just kidding).
No need to disassemble the spring to wrap the exo in its case (or interchange forearms.......).
The red hooks are not the fnal ones but give the idea of an easier catch.
New dark grey color!
And more I won't disclose before it's ready to ship this time (fed up with chinese or swiss copies selling before the original comes out!!)...
Expected to ship mid-october.
Is it possible to upgrade from the Mark I to the Mark II ? If yes, how much it will cost?
oh yes, upgrade path please please please.
I'm suprised you find the mk1 too wide James. I have no trouble passing through doors. (73cm here). It needs practice but it's working perfectly.
Doorways were a deal breaker for me with the Mk1. The twist technique will get you straight through but if you have to turn coming out of a doorway it's not good. Otherwise I love the action on it but movie sets have doorways leading to hallways at right angles a lot. The other aspect I'd like to see improved is a strap that involves some sort of quick release. With the Mk 1 the difficulty with getting on / off the straps Was a true POA. Carey's Velcro method works but puts the width of the arms at the widest...Way too wide for doors here. 65cm standard. It's the outer extremities on the arms - if they could be redesigned to go over instead of out it would work. I might get mine adapted by a metal shop.

Sorry I can’t disclose more right now.
But be sure the main question about MkI (being its footprint), has be resolved in the most versatile way.
Oh, you tease, Sir![]()
