Lack of response from forum department

I love this forum but I ve found it frustrating to get any change request granted on this forum. I am trying to get a name change request made and i get no response. Everyone else seems to change their names without problems. I ve followed what was asked to do, and nothing. Am I asking the wrong thread?

But I find it strange at best that you have asked on two occasions for a name change, each time for a different name. Plus, the last request sounds a lot like a well known actor from Titanic.

Well it is a "real names" forum. Perhaps Omar doesn't realize it has to be HIS real name?

I didnt mean to disrespect anyone. But i noticed that everyone changes their names constantly on this site. Didn't figure it would be a big deal. Again my apologies.

Don't we all have to use our real names? I don't recall any frequent poster changing his name recently, but that may just be me.

That's a curious thing to say as I have been here for quite some time and haven't noticed a whole lot of name changes; except when someone starts with something like RedDog or some other obviously non-real name. As for the perception that people change names all the time, how would you know that? :huh:

I saw the thread from Shawn from Seattle. Wanted to change his name. I didnt know we could do that. I didnt even know we could use so and so from the city you are from. So i looked it up and saw that there was a lot of name change requests. Seriously i dont want to make it a bigger deal. forget i said anything.

Omar you might be referring to people who are changing from a fictitious name to a real name (like Terry mentioned above). This forum requires you use your real name (with only a few exceptions). I believe it's clearly stated when signing up, at least it was when I signed up about 4 years ago.

I say all this without judgement to your request for a name change but in a effort to clear up any confusion.
