So, who has their hands on a 4.7 LCD? How are you dealing with the lack of rotation? Seems almost like a dealbreaker to me, honestly...

I hope someone will come up with a pogo-to-pogo cable, so you won't need lemo adapters
thats a done deal, wooden camera will show it off at NAB, a pogo to lemo too. check out their instagram account.

Just wanted to see if anyone at NAB came out with a solution to give us the full pivot on the 4.7" touch?

Ah yes I saw those, but I meant maybe like a different solution. I might in the minority here, but I dislike magic/noga arms quite a lot.

You should check out the UltraLight system. I believe it was designed for UW rigging, but IMO it's what Noga arms should be. YMMV.

That's a big part of it. I like the idea of cable-less but locking it down in place is wild. $200+ in adapters seems like a silly solution.

The screen size seems MUCH smaller than the 5". I was a big fan of the 5", but the new hingeless 7" looks perfect.

I saw the Wooden Camera pogo to lemo cable at NAB. It was kind of cool but I just worry about the fragility of it. The pogo end seems way more likely to become damaged where the connections of the bracket meet the cables. It's only a loose cable shroud that seems to be covering the pogo ribbon. Doesn't feel like a permanent solution. My scarlet W comes on Tuesday and I'm going to try out running the 4.7" RED monitor for controlling camera and using one of my 2 small HD 702 brights as the framing and focus monitor on a NOGA arm. Hopefully this will be a solid workflow as I don't want to spend another $3000+ for a RED 7".

What about something like this?

i just wanted to show my wooden camera pogo to pogo relocating the monitor set up, great for a shoulder rig too. super clean and study setup.

wooden camera pogo 12 inch cable
ultra light arm with wooden camera nato kit (you can just use their nato magic arm, i had this arm already)
monitor is flipped upside down and you flip the image in monitor settings

also, i use an old outirgger handle, it lets be keep the top clear and also lets me fold down the monitor flat on top of the camera for steadicam or rigs or just transport. it didnt line up by a half of millimeter but a drill and patience fixed that. then i put on wooden camera lower profile screws so they could possible touch the monitor when folded.
