Hey

http://www.lacie.com/us/products/product.htm?pid=10965

After I had 4 lacie disk drives fail on me at the same time (and all of them supposedly backing each other up), I will
never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never
EVER buy anything from them again. Just go with something like a g-raid. Just my opinion.

[Jim Collins]

I have had 3 LaCie drives go bad out of 6.

[Martin Weiss]

I have had 0 out of 7 LaCies go bad in 4 years.

[Manfred Lopez]

I have had 0 out of 7 LaCies go bad in 4 years.

So with my 4 and Jim's 3 that's 7 against 7. So we're talking a 50% chance of failure.

Moik

We don't yet know the specs for Premiere Pro Native support so this is an unknown. We've seen that it's more Processor intensive than bandwidth restricted when working with Redcode so that's an indicator.

So there you go - a more precise answer to the actual question.

Having said that avoid Lacies like the plague in flares with a sweat problem.

Do you mean never as in never or never as in never?
